Katie joined the practice in early 2014 having previously worked for two of the largest multi-disciplinary practices in the UK; PRP and Barton Willmore.  Her professional experience ranges across all work stages, from project brief development and concept design, through to planning, construction information, and building contract administration.


Katie is an RIBA and RIAS Chartered Architect who qualified in 2010.  She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and joined the part-time teaching staff of the University of Portsmouth in 2016.  Katie served as a nationally elected member of the RIBA Council between 2013 and 2016,  during which time she was a member of the RIBA Education Trust Fund Committee and was one of three judges for the RIBA Part 2 bursaries scheme in 2015 and 2016.  In the past Katie has also been a member of the RIBA Education Committee and she is currently a corresponding member of Architects for Change – the RIBA Equality and Diversity Forum.



Projects Include:


£2.5m refurbishment and extension of a care home for use as a Convent, including Assisted Living accommodation and a new-build Chapel, within a Conservation Area, South Buckinghamshire.


£6m redevelopment of a site to provide 25 short-stay serviced apartments, business hub, restaurant and public realm improvements, Kingston.


Refurbishment and conversion of a group of BTMs within a Conservation Area, to provide a mixed use scheme with retail and residential accommodation, Hampton.


£8m refurbishment and extension of a Grade II* Listed private residence within a Conservation Area and Metropolitan Open Land, Hampstead.
