Clive Chapman Architects has been given the go-ahead on some exciting schemes to take forward from planning through to construction including 45-49 Station Road, Hampton, 179-181 High Street Hampton Hill, and Uplands, High Wycombe - the conversion of a former hotel and conference centre & conversion of former coach house block to provide 59 dwellings.
GREEN BUILDING STORE PASSIVHAUS CPD
On 21st March, we welcomed Green Building Store who delivered a CPD on Passivhaus Design & Specification.
This application for the redevelopment of 290-294 High Street, Dorking, to provide one retail unit with seven numbered flats over, was unanimously approved at the Mole Valley Development Committee meeting on 10th January.
Planning application approved for Burgoine Quay, Hampton Wick
This application for the extension of the existing office building to provide an additional 785m2 of office space over four storeys was approved at the Richmond upon Thames Planning Committee meeting on 25th October.
Tŷ Mawr CPD
On 17th October, Tŷ Mawr (ecological building materials) travelled down from Wales to deliver a CPD on lime mortar entitled 'Lime: Traditional Building Products for Today's World'. As well as raising awareness of the significance of vapour permeable building materials, they presented the different types of lime available including new materials such as limecrete floors, glaster and lime hemp.
Planning application approved for 179-181 High Street, Hampton Hill
This application for the extension of the existing retail and residential accommodation to provide a mixed-use scheme comprising one retail unit and ten residential dwellings was approved at the Richmond upon Thames Planning Committee meeting on 11th October.
Planning application approved for a Paragraph 55 New-Build Passivhaus, Hellidon, Northamptonshire
This application for a new single-storey Passivhaus in the grounds of a Grade II* Listed house in Hellidon, Northamptonshire, was approved at the Daventry District Council Planning Committee meeting on 11th October.

We are pleased to announce that Hannah Griffiths has passed her Part III qualification after studying at Kingston University this year whilst working full time here at Clive Chapman Architects. She also passed her BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment Assessor exam in July.
Planning application approved for 45-49 Station Road, Hampton
This application for the redevelopment of the site to re-instate a smaller Car Showroom with associated workshops, and eight residential dwellings, was approved at the Richmond upon Thames Planning Committee meeting on 6th September.
