Working with Countryside Properties, our proposal was selected by Richmond Council in an architect/developer design competition for the redevelopment of the old swimming pool site in Twickenham. The scheme includes a new River Centre, public open space, playground, housing and landscaped riverside embankment. The River Centre comprises educational/ exhibition space, boat workshops, boat hire kiosk, public toilets, offices and a café restaurant with outdoor play area. The public open space wraps over the river centre providing higher level views of the river.
