A new single-storey, two-bedroom Passive House in Barnes that has been designed to preserve and enhance the conservation area. The house has been designed to sit low on the site, just protruding above planted boundary fences. The green roof will have flat photovoltaic panels lying below the parapet roof line.
The garden house, with large areas of glazing, forming small linked courtyards, will utilise the good aspect to sunlight and solar gains, with minimal north-facing windows.
