Renewable Energy Consultancy
What is our process?
We can advise on renewable energy sources for projects, and can guide clients on making sustainable choices whether for new-builds or existing buildings.
Our Experience:
Air and Ground Source Heat Pumps: The team have delivered projects for both types of heat pumps. This includes schemes with vertical-bore GSHPs suitable for smaller sites, where land constraints prevent the use of horizontal shallow-trench systems. These GSHPs offer a highly energy-efficient method for heating and hot water for buildings, minimising utility bills and carbon emissions. ASHPs are also frequently designed into our projects, and our experience covers the planning implications, the practical location and incorporation into varying building uses.
Photovoltaic Panels: The practice has worked on multiple projects where PV’s have been incorporated to existing buildings and their grounds, inclusive of Listed buildings and Building of Townscape Merit (BTMs). This knowledge covers the optimal location, orientation and calculated capacity for proposals. This has translated into capturing quantifiable data related to maximising annual cost savings.
Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery: Following on from our Passivhaus experience, we are well versed in the design and installation of MVHR systems, whether individual or combined. We can advise on the size and capacity of systems for design projects, and the subsequent improvement to energy reporting.

Our practice has in-house environmental designers with knowledge and experience over various projects, including skills of different computer simulation software to test the quantitative benefits and design performance. We are happy to discuss opportunities and benefits for any potential design projects.
