A new development comprising five new houses and two apartments, with associated parking and amenity space, to replace the existing disused garages and hardstanding.

The new development has been designed so as not to overshadow the existing neighbouring Ikona Court, and overlooking windows will be served by obscured glazing and set back from the western boundary.

The elevations are designed to a modern, elegant aesthetic, with use of simple materials such as pale stock facing brick, aluminium faced windows, smooth grey tiled pitched roofs and decorative brick screen walls to terraces. An extensive Beech hedge has been proposed to the front boundary between Ikona Court and the new building. The subtle planting beds are positioned to the approach to each of the new dwellings. Further hedging is between the parking and dwellings, to secure privacy as well as mitigate noise.
