Solar Panel Canopies for The Richmond Charities Almshouses
Along with solar panels on the roof of Queen Elizabeth’s Almshouses, Richmond, solar panel canopies are now complete in the garden. The external areas provided additional opportunities for the installation of PV panels along the fence boundaries. The timber canopy structures fit 17no PVs paid at a 20 degree incline to increase the efficiency of the panels. The new canopies retained existing vegetation and caused no harm to the existing heritage asset.
